Ambassador Sanders is TCC College Black History Month Speaker on "The New Global Landscape"




As the keynote speaker for TCC College's "I Will Step Into Greatness," during the 2018 Black History Month program, Ambassador Sanders highlighted the importance of students recognizing that they can be and do anything they set their minds to -- as long as they have a good education! Moreover, she added that it was critical for them to take advantage of their learning experiences at TCC as use those tool to address some of the global challenges in their community, or if so desire, also on the global stage.

Sanders Speaks at Georgetown University Africa Business Conference on Key Role of StartUps



During the Georgetown University's Annual "Africa Business," Conference, Ambassador Robin Sanders was asked to speak on the importance that both startup business and entrepreneurs are playing in Sub Saharan Africa today.  On startups she stressed that these businesses need to focus on keeping it both "simple," an "doable," initially for the first 3-5 years and ensure that they are what she calls "infrastructure-lite," in establishing their businesses no matter whether they are selling goods or services.
Prior to the Africa Business Conference, Georgetown Distinguished Diplomat in Residence, Ambassador Linda Thomas Greenfield hosted Ambassador Sanders to discusss the importance and impact of Africa small business on development, along with a book signing of Sandeds book "The Rise of Africa's Small and Medium Enterprises."

Sanders speaking at China Washington DC Confucius on Today's China-Africa Relationship


Ambassador Sanders joins three other distinguished Ambassadors -- Ambassador Chihombori Quai, the African Union Ambassador to the United States, and Ambassador Reuben Brigety, Dean of the George Washington University Elliot School of International Affairs Studies --  at the Washington D.C. Confucius Center to discuss key issues that impact the China-Africa relationship today and how that dynamic relationship impacts US-Africa relationship. The event will be webcast nationwide to all Confucius Centers in the United States.
